About

This suburban garden is the result of 15 years of contemplation by the owner who is a gardener and garden designer. The owner wanted the spaces to be organized, private and with good circulation but also accommodate a variety of plantings to learn from.

The backyard hardscape of raised concrete planters, decking, and creative garden bed design make additional living space as outdoor rooms, used extensively during Covid. Another 15 years later, the gardens have grown into a series of very private spaces filled with low water plantings from California and other Mediterranean climates such as succulents, yuccas, aloes, agaves, proteas, and restios to name a few. You will also find many different espaliered fruit trees inside and outside the garden fencing.

This garden’s estimated size is 3,800 sq. ft.
